Donna Letizia, the original patron of the Villa, is the one to whom the Letizia Room is dedicated. A portrait of her in oil and some original pieces of furniture that belonged to the noblewoman – together with period photographs depicting the residence’s historic atmosphere – make the space particularly warm and welcoming. This is further enhanced by a painted wood boiserie created in the exact style of that furnishing. The unmistakable Roman light – made ever-changing by the flow of the Tiber and filtered through the surrounding vegetation – enters the room through a precious St. Gallen lace curtain, giving the space a truly timeless atmosphere.
